Week 37: (Feb 29-Mar 7, 2024)

School completion update:
Based on the Calendar, we are in Week #37 of the school construction project, which is expected to conclude by Week #38. The project has progressed each week, thanks to the leadership of the Haitian contractor, Ing. Francillon, who adjusted strategies multiple times to address project requirements and resolve emerging challenges. Nevertheless, the project has a delay of 3 months (20 weeks) due to persistent obstacles, including the prevailing security concerns across Haiti, intermittent interruptions caused by adverse weather conditions, the remote location of the project site, requests from workers for wage adjustments to transport cement blocks, and negotiations with a local resident regarding compensation for the use of the pulley system on her property. By March 14, the Haitian contractor will provide a schedule addendum outlining his revised expectations for the completion of the school construction.
